Wenge Wood comes from Central Africa and is an endangered species. With a trunk diameter of about 1 metre and the capacity to grow to a height of 18 to 27 metres, the Wedge Wood has gained widespread recognition for its strength, durability, and resistance to termite infestations. In addition the Wedge Wood is so durable because of its inherent oils as well as structure that it does not need to be treated with physical or chemical treatments.
